"The Candle Always Burns (feat. Imarri)" by LT is a very creative, uplifting hip-hop album. Reflecting many of the vintage aspects of hip-hop music, these primarily beat-driven tunes contain articulate, flowing rhymes and well-sung choruses. The title –track demonstrates LT's creative approach to hip-hop, with its groovy percussion, positive poetic lyrics, and beautifully arranged female accompanying vocals. Moreover, "U Can Change (Feat. Imarri)" includes more musical hooks and leads, flaunting a very contagious bass groove and witty background sounds. Furthermore, stripped-down acapella versions of both of these tunes are included in this four-song EP. Fans of innovative hip-hop with thoughtful lyrics will enjoy this collection.
