The first thing that jumps out to listeners is the graceful instrumentation present on this CD – pacifying acoustic arrangements backed by soothing percussion. Above this instrumentation, the incredible vocals on this CD are quite comforting and very reminiscent of Joni Mitchell, including the effective use of falsetto. "A Case of You" introduces the lovely sounds of the grand piano, and demonstrates Big Yellow Taxi's perfectly toned vocals! "California" hails an acoustic intro that is very enticing and guest stars an accentuating electric guitar melody. As far as production goes, these tunes are all refined up and ready for consumption! Fans of Joni Mitchell will find themselves in paradise when listening to this CD!
