This album is filled with foot tapping Swamp riffs and Country twang. You can revel in the superior musicianship, while your little one learns the ABC's and the days of the week. Mr. Darby has a soothing, fun and child friendly voice. The arrangements are fun and quirky and equally so are the lyrics. Highlights are "I Went for a Walk", with its sinister swagger, cute children's chorus and kooky lyrics. "Monkeys on the Bed" is a little boot knocker, with a cool little dream sequence. "Dega B'deg" features lots of fun percussion sounds and resonator guitar. If you enjoy fun, foot-tapping kids music that entertains adults as well, you'll enjoy this fine CD.
