"What's Your Point" by Dan Weintraub is a humorous alternative folk album filled with dark humor, punk influences and a "Say what I want" mentality. Dan holds nothing back in his lyrics. The journey through his mind is filled with cynicism and parodies of life. There are lots of smiles hiding in the darkness though. Dan delivers these brooding tunes with an effectively loving and funny style. Dan's talents as a songwriting, acoustic guitarist, and songwriter come together to deliver these enjoyable tunes. Highlights include the opener "Ya Ya Ya." Don't be fooled by the happy-go-lucky sound, Dan has something different in mind. "Employee of the Week" has a driving rhythm and is a love story of sorts.
