"Shadow on the Moon" by Phyllis Brock is a Folk Rock album with a taste of country. Filled with beautiful melodies and intimate vocals, this album will keep you in a relaxed, pleasant state of mind. The vibe is positive and lyrics inspiring. You'll also hear some nice accompaniment and fine musicianship behind the singer. And if you like a classic Country voice, Phyllis' voice is it. Highlights are "Where Only We Can Go," which sets the tone of the album nicely with a lovely vocal performance and nice harmonies. "Shadow on the Moon" is a bluesy number with more great vocal harmony. "I Dreamed I Danced with Willie Nelson" is a fun little number with some very Willie-esque guitar work. If you enjoy folk rock and discovering excellent female vocalists, you'll enjoy this CD.
